Dr. Rajiv Perera, a proud alumnus of Royal College, Colombo, is a seasoned pharmaceutical and medical marketing expert with over two decades of industry leadership. He has held senior positions at globally renowned pharmaceutical companies including Novartis-Sandoz GMBH, Sanofi Aventis, CSL Behring, Octapharma AG, Cytosorbents Inc., Reliance Life Sciences, and LG Chem, where he gained deep expertise across biologicals, biosimilars, and critical care portfolios.

Dr. Kingsley Bernard

Dr Kingsley Bernard counts over 40 years of experience in the Corporate Sector in Sri Lanka. He has held senior and top management positions in organizations both in the public and private sectors including Unilever, Capital Maharaja Organization, Dankotuwa Porcelain PLC, Export Development Board, Sri Lanka Export Credit Insurance Corporation (SLECIC), Bimputh Finance PLC, PEPSI- Sri Lanka and SLIIT Campus.

Dr. Rohan Abeywickrama

Dr. Rohan Abeywickrama commenced his university teaching career as a Lecturer in English in the Department of Languages at Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lankaа (SUSL) in 2004. He worked as the Head of the Department of English Languages Teaching (DELT), and the Department of Languages (DOL) at SUSL before he was appointed as the Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Languages in 2023.

He is likely to undertake research in the fields of Applied Linguistics,Issues & Developments in Methodology, Testing & Evaluation, Curriculum & M a te r i a l Design, and Research Methods in ELT. He has published extensively in both local and international refereed journals, held many academic and administrative positions at the university, and contributed broadly at both national and international levels. His doctoral work at Deakin University in Australia that focused on professional development (PD) for university-level ESL teachers developed a special interest in him for PD, as PD has implications for all teachers in the education system.

Ms. Lakgeevani Fernando

Dedicated Middle School Teacher specializing in Life Skills, with expertise in creating and implementing engaging lessons aligned with the English Medium school curriculum. With over 10 years of experience teaching at a prominent International School in Sri Lanka, excels at motivating students and fostering effective learning through clear tasks and challenging yet attainable goals. She is a student of AIBT Campus who has followed the Educational pathway and she has complted the Masters in Education from IBES University France / UCAM University Spain. Ms Lakgeevani is presently following the Doctorate in Education from IBES University France /Vern University Croatia.

As a visiting lecturer with years of experience, She is a passionate about teaching and dedicated to ensuring student success. Possessing a robust background in her field, effectively communicates complex concepts to students of diverse levels. Her teaching philosophy revolves around establishing an interactive and inclusive learning environment, where students are inspired to articipate and explore new ideas. Proficient in leveraging technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance overall learning experience. In essence, She is devoted and enthusiastic educator continually seeking to refine her teaching practices and positively impact her students’ academic and personal growth.

Ms. Dilini De Alwis

Course Director – School of Fashion Studies

Ms. Dilini De Alwis is an experienced lecturer in Fashion design and product development field graduated from The Open University of Sri Lanka (BIS(Hons.) second upper division) She has mastered strategic marketing from Aell and also Education management from IIC university of Technology-Camdobia and currently a Phd. Candidate in the same university. She started her career in Brandix Textiles Ltd. And joined as a Lecturer at The Open university-Sri-Lanka in the year 2020. currently she is working as a senior visiting lecturer at AIBT Kandy campus. She follows the practical based and Innovative study methods in her lecture sessions.

She has her own clothing brand-Bliss by D founded in 2018 which caters for local and International clients and she is specialized in hand painted sarees, silk batiks and batik designer evening wear.

She also spread her knowledge as a freelance TV anchor/ a recourse person at Rupavahini Nugasewana, Siyatha TV, Monara TV, Aksharaya TV and also working as a resource person for Mehum Thaksalawa fashion Magazine. Along with this, she has founded her own institute for art, fashion and craft- Glamour Threads academy to support Entrepreneurs who are willing to start up their own brands and shops.
