AIBT Campus proudly honored veteran educator K. H. Amaradasa with a Lifetime Achievement Award during the prestigious AIBT Campus Graduation Ceremony 2026, held at the iconic BMICH Main Hall, Colombo. The award recognized his outstanding dedication to education and his remarkable contribution to shaping generations of students in Sri Lanka.
The AIBT Graduation Ceremony 2026 was a grand celebration of academic excellence, where more than 600 graduates received their qualifications, including Diplomas, Higher International Diplomas (HID), Bachelor’s Degrees, Postgraduate Diplomas, MBA, MEd, DBA, and PhD programmes.
Among the highlights of the ceremony was the special tribute to Mr. K. H. Amaradasa, a respected and inspiring educator who served the prestigious Royal College, Colombo for over 32 years from 1971 to 2003.
Throughout his distinguished teaching career, Mr. Amaradasa dedicated his life to nurturing young minds, instilling discipline, and inspiring students to pursue knowledge and excellence. His commitment to education extended far beyond academic instruction, as he played a pivotal role in shaping the character, leadership, and ambitions of countless students who have gone on to achieve success in various professional fields.
His unwavering passion for education and mentorship has left a lasting legacy that continues to influence generations of learners across Sri Lanka.
In recognition of his exceptional service and lifelong dedication to education, AIBT Campus proudly presented the Lifetime Achievement Award to Mr. Amaradasa during the graduation ceremony.
The award was presented by Mr. Kevin Johns, CEO of London Examinations Board Limited, who attended the event as the Chief Guest.
